Storm On The Pass
A slow-moving storm pressed over the Eastern Sierra at the Sonora Pass, folding light into shadow along the granite spine. I made this image with my Mamiya 645 medium format film camera and a long telephoto lens, drawing the distant ridgeline close to feel the weight of weather and stone. What drew me wasn’t the drama, but the stillness just before it broke.

Heart Of The Earth
Carved over millions of years by wind, water, and temperature swings, the granite of the Alabama Hills tells a deeper story than what first meets the eye. The Heart Arch is one of its quietest expressions—an opening shaped not by intention, but by time itself. I photographed this formation with my Hasselblad 500cm and Carl Zeiss lens, letting the medium mirror the patience of the subject. In the stillness of morning light, the arch became more than stone—it became a gesture of endurance, shaped by the slow rhythm of the Earth.

Cathedral Silence
Beneath the looming granite of Yosemite’s Cathedral Spires, the Merced River winds quietly through autumn’s hush. Captured with a Mamiya 645 medium format film camera, this image leans into a fine art sensibility—where the soft veil of mist, the golden foliage, and the glasslike water conspire to evoke a sense of reverence. The fading light of a late afternoon in the Valley transforms the landscape into a dreamscape—timeless, still, and sacred.

High Sierra Splendor
Photographed at 8,000 feet in the Sierra Nevada Range near Lake Tahoe, this image captures the quiet grandeur of a late afternoon descent into dusk. As the sun drapes the alpine landscape in a final wash of golden light, contours soften and colors deepen. Taken with a Nikon z9, the composition balances clarity and warmth—an homage to the fleeting splendor that defines twilight in the high country.

Hope Valley Hushed

Tucked away near the summit of the Sierra Nevada Range, a weathered barn rests beneath the amber canopy of Hope Valley. Autumn color floods the land with memory and silence, while clouds sweep overhead like a slow-moving hymn. This was photographed with a Nikon z9 with painterly interpretation in fine art style. It captures not just a place, but the mood of seasonal retreat — where warmth, solitude, and soft light converge.

Solitude In The Valley
Captured in the stillness of Yosemite Valley during autumn, this contemplative black-and-white image reveals a lone figure walking quietly along the banks of the Merced River. Mist and cloud drift among towering granite cliffs and pines, evoking a hushed grandeur. Shot with a Mamiya 645 medium format camera on Ilford Delta 200 Professional film, the photograph blends classic film texture with serene composition. The tranquil water, reflecting the towering trees and mountain shadows, completes a moment of quiet reverence—an ode to isolation, wilderness, and inner calm.
